Ginger Uses
Hi -
http://www.teaanswers.com/ginger-tea-recipes/
http://www.livestrong.com/article/198985-how-do-i-make-ginger-tea-with-ground-ginger/
Other uses for ground ginger:
http://thenerdyfarmwife.com/14-way-use-ground-ginger/
The following recipe is compliments of A. Wells:
The Best Homemade Ginger Tea
Ingredients
Serves: 1-2
1 Tbsp. fresh grated ginger
2 cups filtered water
1 Tbsp. raw honey or pure maple syrup
½ lemon, juiced
Optional
1 cinnamon stick
Camomile flowers
Echinacea tincture
Fresh mint leaves
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Directions
Peel the ginger root with a peeler or with the back of a spoon.
Grate the ginger with a grater/zester. If you slice it, slice it thin and use more.
Infuse the ginger; if you add cinnamon, mint, camomile or cayenne, add it here.
If you are using a saucepan, bring the water to a boil, add ginger and turn off heat. Put the lid on it and let it steep for 10 minutes.
If you are using a teapot, add ginger in the teapot and pour boiling water in it. Let it steep for about 10 minutes.
If you are using a saucepan, strain the water to remove the ginger.
Add fresh lemon juice and natural sweetener if you like. Stir and enjoy!
If you want a cold tea, let your tea cool down, store it in the fridge and add ice cubes before serving.

Doctors Don't Know Enough about Nutrition and Exercise
Hi -
Ain't this a damn shame? Doctors KNOW, though, how to write up loads of prescriptions. CBS news reported that in 2013, $329.2 billion went toward drug spending.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/to-your-health/wp/2014/06/23/your-doctor-says-he-doesnt-know-enough-about-nutrition-or-exercise/
This is funny AND serious.

Recipe from Konscious Queen
Hi -
I got this from Konscious' FB page -- used here by permission.
Banana, cucumber, apple, cantaloupe, honey dew melon, watermelon, and Kale. About to add some coconut water, orange juice, and flax milk... im completely just making these recipes up LOL so ill let you know if its good before i recommend it lol
Ok ,i just tried it. It yaste really really good! The honey dew melon is really strong which is a good thing! Who knew that all this mixed together tastes so good?!
I just been eyeing it lol. I don't use measurements. All I know is that I use 1 or 2 baby bananas and like 2/5 an Apple. The other stuff I just been throwing in. You really can't go wrong with fruits and vegetables in my opinion. If it's not sweet enough, add more Apple or banana. The kale doesn't have much taste. If you use cucumber, make sure to use melons to even out taste.
